Creative Technologist/VR Developer
Our client, an Entertainment Content Company, is seeking a Creative Technologist/VR Developer to join their team.You will report to Creative Director and responsible to:Driving innovation that enhances and enlivens the marketing campaigns providing insight to other technical industries offering different perspective into our Creative Technology team. Elevating the design and UX of existing campaigns with a an eye for design and a deep knowledge of the social/digital space. Work to create special AR activations ie AR scavenger hunt as a proof of concept for Upfronts/TCA/Comic-Con crafting thoughtful user experiences. Putting project plans into action, which may include designing AR assets, coding, enhancing the UI and UX for the end user, along with providing support and ongoing maintenance for the client during the project’s life cycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including Art Directors, UX designers, developers, and motion graphics artists. Developing interactive prototypes in order to conceptualize and develop innovative approaches for various marketing initiatives. Overseeing the implementation of ideas to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs. Research and develop new ideas using cutting-edge technologies and techniques.Musts:3-7 years of software creative technology and/or development experience working in creative/R&D/agency environments. BS or MS in Graphic Design/Computer Science/Media Arts is prefered. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in multiple design/development disciplines (web, native iOS/MacOS applications, installations, motion graphics, 3D, creative coding). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Motion graphics and 3D software AfterEffects, Maya skills, as well as 3D graphics experience with Unity in C#. Experience with Unity/Unreal and AR/VR development is a plus. Proven experience with native iOS/MacOS development skills (ObjC, Swift, C+ +, etc). Thrives in working on augmented reality concepts and solutions. Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking capabilities. Freelance UX Researcher
Our client, a New York based online luxury fashion retailer, is looking for a mid-to-senior level UX Researcher to join their team on an ongoing freelance capacity to help build out the UX Research process in their growing Product team. Our client is motivated to hire and is looking to bring talent in on a temp-to-hire structure beginning immediately on-site in NYC.What you'll be doing:Audit the company's current Product development process, research and roadmap. Work with the design team to determine project objectives, plan out the research roadmap and the tools that will be used to execute user research. Obtain important insights about users through different methods of research including things like ethnographic observation, diaries, usability studies, interviews, surveys or even something you create yourself. Partner with data analytics teams to gather quant and qual data and determine how to leverage to improve process. Take research findings and translate into usable insights and actionable design tools including things like personas, design principles, requirements, etc. Share your research insights with team including designers, product managers, engineers and the executive team to inform all product and business decisions. Conduct user testing on-site at our client. Other tasks may apply.About you:5+ years of experience in the user and UX research spaces. Professional experience conducting live and remote usability studies and interviews.
