Merchandise Licensing Coordinator
Our client, a major entertainment studio, is seeking a Sales Planning Coordinator for Business Operations & Strategy team.Responsibilities:Compile high volumes of material data sets in Excel, map, migrate, and validate data sets in system. Accountable for the integrity of all sales data in database. Audit deal terms of licensed product in the system and reconcile against the license agreement. Provide Sales team with a comprehensive avails/status of licensed content to maximize sales avails and future sales opportunities. Assist with pre/post sale activity. Extract material deal points and create ad-hoc reports targeted packages of available product, strategically selected for a particular licensee and initial deal structure for the sales team. Review counter offers and revise the deals accordingly for the sales team. Maintain option trackers for all active deals. Prepare and distribute notices. Review and approve monthly invoice entries. Interact with Sales executives, Legal, Operations, Finance and Accounting on a frequent basis One-off analytic projects as required.Musts:BA/BS in related field or relevant experience 1-3 year’s experience in entertainment distribution licensing experience. Strong database and project management skills. Must be expert in Excel, with experience with data manipulation and Excel formulas (Date functions, V-lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.). Comprehensive understanding of underlying distribution rights and music rights, coupled with strong analytical skills to be able to perform analysis of exclusive vs. non-exclusive grant of rights, exclusivities, restrictions/holdbacks. Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with legal team and sales staff. Self-starter with ability to prioritize. Excellent time management skills. Creative Project Manager
Our client, an Entertainment Studio, is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join the Print/Digital team.Responsibilities:Oversee project management, trafficking, budgeting, post-production of all print materials. Contribute concepts, designs and art direction for all theatrical print materials, awards campaign materials, company branding projects, and in-house graphic design requests. Oversee and coordinate the finishing of all art used in theatrical one-sheets, outdoor advertising, ads, and other print applications managing color correction and retouching; proof reading and approval of print mechanicals before going to press. Collaborate with the in-theater group on standees, displays and special projects. Art direct and act as a liaison between multiple departments within the company as well as outside creative agencies. Oversee newspaper campaigns, including creative exploration, design, production and trafficking of materials. Manage the print creative and production of all awards campaign materials including, but not limited to screener packaging, direct mail, trade ads, special mailers, outdoor advertising, and brochures, etc.. Organize all unit and special photography for advertising use. Organize all final marketing assets for distribution amongst all internal departments. Correspond with the legal department, MPAA and all Guilds (Writers, Directors, Producers) to ensure all the print materials are approved according to contracts and/or guidelines. Process all vendor invoices and monitor creative budgets. Maintain review quote sheets for use with theatrical marketing and awards campaign materials.Musts:5-7 years experience in entertainment marketing creative Proficient in Word/Excel and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity of the Awards guidelines and experience with Awards FYC campaigns. Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable collaborating with teammates. Part-time Event Manager (Tech Conferences)
Our client, a top gaming company located in Redwood City is looking to hire a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Event Manager with tech conference experience for a 3+ month assignment.This person will be responsible for leading bi-weekly project team meetings and managing all meeting presentation and materials. They will also manage event logistics including attendee communication, registration, hotel room blocks, conference space.**Please note that this role is required to travel to Orlando, FL for a tech conference the first week in October 2019 (this will be a 40+ hr week).Responsibilities, Skills and Experience:Develop and maintain a comprehensive event schedule with programs of action and milestones Develop cost estimates, tracks payments, and keep budget accounting for event.
