Working knowledge of DPM, Hyper-V, Ops Manager *(one or more). Expertise building, racking, administering, troubleshooting & deploying Intel-based server platforms with Win Server and Linux. Expertise in configuring, managing and troubleshooting virtualized environments such as Hyper-V. Experience with SAN and storage solutions. Solid understanding of networking: LAN, WAN, IDS / IPS, Layer 2 /3 VPN, network security and load balancing, firewalls and wireless networks. Experience with network monitoring tools. Security-focused with a deep understanding of IT security practices and ensures key system controls are adhered to. Good understanding of database applications and servers (i.e., SQL Server). Solid experience in rack, environmental, power and capacity management within Data Centers, Server Rooms. MDFs and IDF’s. Project Management Skills.
