You will report to the Director, Visual Branding and provide line extensions to new brands and will be the main point person for several toy brand. Responsibilities: Concept for toy packaging brands, leading projects and jr-mid level designers on the team Lead brainstorm meetings and present concepts to team internally Package design through production on 1 or 2 core brands 70% of the time, and working on other brands and / or new brand concepts 30% of the time Under the direction of creative leadership, create packaging design concepts that support brand strategy Work with the production team to ensure integrity of design in final deliverables Communicate all project related progress/challenges or concerns to the Design Manager and to Project Management Develop digital marketing assets as needed Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams - as well as overseas agents - in the package development and approval process Requirements: 7-10 years' experience in the cpg industry; toy package design needed A portfolio with packaging samples a must in toy, cpg, beauty, etc. understanding mechanicals Management experience having led projects and small teams before Ability to create packaging based on style guides Can build packaging with supplied die lines and art assets to prepare for production hand-off Must be an expert in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Keen sense of design with strong typography skills Professional with strong communication skills able to share specifics of experience and contribution of projects Proven ability to work in a high volume, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment Strong creative and technical abilities including conceptual drawing and manual illustration are a plus Seeking warm, humble, collaborative partner to join the team.
Graphic Design - Print Production
Our client, a growing CPG organization with offices in the northern suburbs is seeking a Print Production designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills with production knowledge, be process driven and pride themselves on creating accurate and consistent designs to meet the needs of the multiple brands of the portfolio. Our client, a financial services/warranty company, is looking for a Marketing Designer (Print/Digital) to join their brand creative team for a 3-month contract that can start immediately. This role will start as remote until shelter-in-place is lifted and will be onsite in San Francisco, CA. You’ll report to the Director of Design and be responsible for the concept, design, and production of a wide-variety of creative executions across both print and digital. This job will be 60% print and 40% digital executions. In this position, you will need to be resourceful working without style guides, and often without a lot of assets to design for both the internal brand team, as well as their 3rd party clients which include big box retailers. Responsibilities: Concept, design, production of print and digital assets including marketing collateral, landing pages, email design, social, in-store signage etc. Comps of different design ideas for clients. Requirements: 7+ Years’ experience in design with a preference for candidates who can showcase a variety of work across both print and digital. High-end aesthetic, with thoughtful use of white space and type. Must be able to project manage yourself and be comfortable with limited direction offsite. Wordpress Web Developer and Designer
Our client, a boutique music publishing company, is looking for a Wordpress Web Developer and Designer to support with a site migration and re-design. This role begins on April 6th, remotely. Your Role: Migrating an existing website into a new WordPress site. Create basic templates, partials and simple WordPress functions. Advising on UX best practices to improve and simplify website development. Execute creative web design (UI) during the migration to support the new brand vision. Help add functions / update existing sites and build new ones. Other tasks may apply. About You: 5+ years of experience with Wordpress Web development with proficiency in all aspects of WordPress. Familiarity with establishing DNS settings from purchasing domains to pointing, etc. Adobe Suite Design Skills (optimizing images for web, fix things, etc.). Can set up and operate with Google analytics, search console, tag manager. Can set up new email accounts with new domains. Bonus if you have experience with Advance Custom Fields for Wordpress. This role will begin immediately, off-site for the foreseeable future. What you'll be doing: Leading the brand, advertising and marketing design as the platform evolves. Partner with the marketing, product design and engineering teams to develop a brand experience that is consistent across all channels.
