Our client, a fashion accessories company, is looking for a Visual/UI Designer to join their Global Brand team at their U.S. headquarters in San Francisco! This person will support the Senior Manager of Global Creative with web development, UX, and all digital graphic design needs. This role is the primary owner of visually optimizing our web presence as well as user experience and digital initiatives. Daily responsibilities include execution of creative briefs for digital, updating seasonal web-based campaigns, non-flagship and templated email design, owning and updating the content hub, and supporting social. Responsibilities: Translate business and marketing objectives into digital designs that are clear, compelling, and visually engaging (20%, play a collaborative role) Update all website assets for seasons/campaigns in-line with the concept of the season/campaign (15%, primary responsibility) Execute on creative briefs submitted from various departments and global partners - including non-flagship emails, email templates, site assets, GDN ads, banners, etc. (15%, primary responsibility) Act as liaison between the Global Creative Team and the Web Team (15%, play a collaborative role) Assist Senior Manager of Global Creative with ongoing development and improvements to our web presence (10%, play a cooperative role) Use A/B testing to find the best solutions to usability problems Implement UX/UI processes to support personas and user journeys that stem from personalization tool Apply industry best practices to assignments while following brand guidelines, maintaining marketing consistency across multiple platforms such as website, email and third-party marketing (10%, play a collaborative role) Continuously update the content hub, working closely with cross-functional teams to provide the best possible experience (10%, play a cooperative role) Provide support for any Ditto, Retain. Senior Industrial Designer
Our client, a global retail design agency, is in search of a Senior Industrial Designer to join their team. This position begins on-site in NYC as soon as possible. Responsibilities: Develop technical renderings of products, displays and fixtures based on internally created designs. Work with the internal design and development team, as well as, clients and external production vendors in the creation of all projects. Assess creative requirements and budgetary parameters as part of your response to RFPs and other client needs. Develop and present concept directions including material and construction detials both internally and to clients. Present designs and detials specifications to manufacturers/developers, partner with engineers and manufacturers/developers on prototypes, samples and builds. Mentor and guide junior members of the team as needed. Utilize your senior level experience to handle multiple concurrent projects effectively, staying on time and on budget. Consult with the team on the requirements of each project and providing multiple solutions to answer briefs. Devise solutions for aesthetic and technical challenges, fine detial of designs. Develop strong relationships with internal partners, clients and external vendors. Take responsibility for final detailing and specification of approved designs and for development of successful prototypes and final product. This person will be reporting into the UX lead in NYC. This person will utilize site-maps, user-flows, wireframes, and prototypes to test and recommend improvements to internally and externally focused digital projects. Also, research of best practices in UX will be necessary to support recommendations in UX improvement. You would need an understanding of the importance that SEO and SEM play and how they impact UX. UI/UX Production Designer
Our client, a Digital Entertainment Company, is seeking a UI/UX Production Designer for a freelance opportunity. You will report to the Executive UX Design Director and be responsible for: champion the art of UX production design for sports, news and entertainment brands across all consumer products including web, mobile, and set-top box devices. Being in a highly visible role is the go-to source for UX production (UI scenarios, design systems, platform translations) and will interface with internal teams such as product, marketing, content operations, and technology. Execute UI/UX production design for the entire design team covering a wide gamut of platforms and devices including web, apps and 10ft devices. Taking the vision and concept of an interface to actual functional details, fleshing out all missing states and scenarios working with design leads to help build all needed UI permutations, all of which are critical for development handoff. Ensuring there are quality and consistency across the board, every feature and pattern produced, no matter its scale or how many devices it touches, has to follow a consistent high-level set of design standards, principles, and expectations. Put together plans/checklists outlining UX Production workloads; providing estimates for completion to our design project manager.
