Onward Search is looking for a freelance Senior Architectural Designer/Project Manager for one of our luxury retail clients. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility for extension, onsite in NYC. The ideal candidate will have conceptual design and development capabilities, expert-level AutoCAD skills, and can mentor more junior level architecture team members. The Senior Architectural Designer/Project Manager will be responsible for the creation of 3D store design renderings, answering RFI’s, project management, setting up agendas for meetings, and some additional administrative tasks. Responsibilities: Hand sketching conceptual renderings 3D design Helping Design Managers with the RFP process Following up with consultants Setting up meeting agendas Researching project-specific materials Administrative / project management work, including electronic file management, document management, timesheet recording keeping/submittal, etc. Team collaboration. Provide expertise in digital Customer design best practices, tools, techniques, and trends to create the Ultimate Customer Experience through digital assets Assure graphics and assets will be in creative sync with the rest of the campaign channels, including TV commercials, in-store visual displays, direct mail, and catalogs. Adhere to tight deadlines with the ability to prioritize work, manage available resources, and communicate any risks, status, or roadblocks to identify solutions within the creative team.
