We’re looking to hire a Sr Graphic Designer for a Fortune 500 global e-commerce client.  Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.  

You’ll join the Design team to Lead the creation of innovative content for video, social media platforms, on-site and off-site displays, and other relevant marketing channels. This contract goes until 5/28/25 + extension. The role is located in San Francisco or San Jose, and is hybrid on-site Tues, Wed, Thurs.

Sr Graphic Designer Responsibilities: 

  • Review and Approve External Creative Projects: Evaluate and provide feedback on adjacent creative initiatives developed by external agencies, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Foster Collaboration for Project Success: Collaborate effectively with diverse teams (copywriters, designers, videographers, social media strategists, marketing managers, and planning partners) to drive creative execution within established business objectives.
  • Deliver Effective Creative Presentations: Present creative concepts to key stakeholders with clarity, professionalism, and a focus on achieving project goals.
  • Execute Data-Driven, Brand-Aligned Creative: Develop engaging creative work that is informed by data insights, aligns seamlessly with our brand's aesthetic standards and marketing needs, and fosters audience engagement.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency Across Channels: Ensure visual style remains consistent across teams and marketing channels, strictly adheres to established brand guidelines, and meets accessibility and platform standards.
  • Leadership and Point Person for Vertical: Serve as a creative leader within the vertical and the primary point of contact for all creative endeavors, collaborating closely with Copy Manager
  • Travel for Events and Production: Occasional travel to events and video/photo shoots may be required to support project execution.
Sr Graphic Designer Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, New Media, or a demonstrably relevant field.
  • Extensive Design Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in graphic design, encompassing expertise in motion graphics, responsive design principles, and additional design territories such as video, photography, print, and other relevant media.
  • Proven Portfolio: Maintain a well-developed portfolio showcasing a diverse range of complex, creatively distinct projects for high-profile brands and initiatives.
  • Strong Conceptual Thinking: Demonstrate exceptional concepting abilities, effectively translating ideas into compelling and impactful creative solutions.
  • Expert Design Knowledge: Possess in-depth expertise in the creative applications of desktop, mobile, display, and social media platforms, including comprehensive understanding of technical specifications and best practices within each domain.
  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Blender is a strong plus.
  • Figma Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Figma and the ability to leverage its functionalities for both creative development and collaborative workflows.
  • Visual Expertise: Possess a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in typography and composition principles. Experience with hand-drawn elements is a valuable asset.
  • Aesthetic Acumen: Maintain a meticulous approach, ensuring a seamless integration of beauty and visual consistency across all design endeavors.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Thrive in a collaborative environment, fostering open communication and actively participating in the exchange of ideas. Demonstrate a positive and receptive approach to feedback, readily incorporating it into the creative process.
  • Time Management and Multitasking: Exhibit exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle multiple, competing tasks from various stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Maintain a flexible and adaptable work style, demonstrating a willingness to adjust to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
  • Positive Attitude and Humor: Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, complemented by a sense of humor. (While not essential, proficiency in Photoshop can further enhance this quality.)

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
