Our client (travel and hospitality) is seeking a dedicated and innovative Digital Asset Manager to join their team. This role is based in Miami, FL and reports to the Digital Media Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and distributing digital assets across all platforms.
This position requires on-site days in our client's downtown, Miami office (Monday - Thursday).
Full time: 40hrs/week.
This role is crucial in overseeing the management, organization, and optimization of our extensive digital asset library to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
This role demands extensive experience in managing large-scale digital asset libraries, with a focus on optimizing workflows, ensuring compliance, and enhancing accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise environments, demonstrating the ability to handle complex digital assets and contribute to the overall efficiency of digital media operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Digital Asset Management:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the DAM system.
- Develop and enforce metadata standards, taxonomy, and asset organization.
- Ensure effective asset retrieval, archiving, and lifecycle management.

Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute a digital asset strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze current asset management practices and recommend improvements.
- Drive the integration of DAM solutions with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, CMS).

Operational Efficiency:
- Establish and manage workflows for asset ingestion, cataloging, and distribution.
- Monitor and report on DAM system performance, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on DAM best practices and usage.

Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with intellectual property laws, licensing agreements, and data protection regulations.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard digital assets.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, creative, IT, and other departments to understand asset needs and provide solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams in asset-related projects and initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for digital asset inquiries and support.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Digital Media, Library Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in DAM is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital asset management, with at least 3 years in an enterprise-level environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in DAM systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Widen), content management systems, and related software. Strong understanding of metadata standards and taxonomy.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
