You’ll join the Engineering team to migrate trading surfaces to GraphQL and optimize performance. This is a 3-month contract opportunity. The role is located in California, and is fully remote.

Frontend Engineer Responsibilities:

• Migrate existing REST endpoints to GraphQL for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity during component migration.
• Write and update unit tests to follow best practices for GraphQL.
• Perform functional testing to ensure smooth integration and superior user experience.
• Collaborate with engineers to set goals, prioritize tasks, and track project progress.
• Leverage Relay’s caching mechanisms to optimize network requests and performance.
• Implement reusable fragments to maintain consistent data-fetching strategies.
• Define and maintain clear GraphQL schemas to streamline data management.

Frontend Engineer Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using React.
• Experience with GraphQL and migrating from REST APIs.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and adhering to coding best practices.
• Knowledge of Relay, including caching and reusable fragments.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalability.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
