My direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Project Management team to manage the website lifecycle, including content updates, maintenance, and enhancements. This is a 12 – month contract + extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Chicago Metro Area, and the role is either hybrid - 3 days/week or fully remote
Website Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Support SEO initiatives to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
- Implement and manage website tagging and analytics tools to track performance.
- Conduct A/B testing and personalization experiments to optimize user experience.
- Manage the intake and prioritization of content optimization requests.
- Partner with IT teams to execute development workstreams and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, agencies, and analytics.
- Lead and manage the execution of website projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular project reviews and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments and agencies.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to optimize website performance and user experience.
- Support SEO, analytics, and personalization initiatives.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement automation and standardization to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
- Manage the content review and approval process.
- Oversee the management and optimization of website platforms.
- Identify and address platform-related issues.
Website Project Manager Requirements:
- 3-5 Years of Pharmaceutical Industry Experienc
- Proven track record in digital marketing, digital project management, and website management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Project Management Expertise by demonstrated ability to juggle and successfully execute multiple projects in fast-paced, demanding environments. Proven aptitude for managing website projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration with proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and build effective relationships with various stakeholders, including management, teams, and vendors.
- Strong Communication Skills by proven excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with both business and technical audiences.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is preferred.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms, such as Adobe Marketing Cloud and website management systems.
- Agency Operations Knowledge: oping, project management, and timeline management.
- A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to draw insights from data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage projects efficiently, utilizing tools like Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Workfront, or Trello.
