We’re looking to hire a Senior Mobile Software Engineer for a fast-growing fintech company. You’ll join the Mobile Engineering team to help scale and optimize mobile platforms and deliver cutting-edge financial services. This is a long-term contract opportunity. The role is open to anywhere in the U.S. and is fully remote.

Senior Mobile Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, scalable code on schedule

• Participate in code/design reviews and set high-quality standards

• Design and build large features independently

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders

• Lead architectural design and help define mobile engineering strategies

• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth

• Contribute to technical documentation and project planning

• Advocate for strong mobile monitoring, logging, and diagnostics

Senior Mobile Software Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 6+ years of mobile development experience in Android or iOS

• Prior experience as a tech lead or mobile architect

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization

• Familiarity with API design and web protocols

• Proficiency in unit and integration testing (TDD)

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Flutter or cross-platform mobile frameworks

• Understanding of Clean Architecture, S.O.L.I.D, and G.R.A.S.P principles

• Exposure to reactive programming (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines, Streams, etc.)

• Open-source contributions

• Experience with large-scale platform development and mobile performance tuning
