As the Web Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the code design, testing, implementation and administration the internal E-Commerce technologies both domestically and for international markets. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to meet B2C and B2B requirements. You must have proven experience creating scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions based on the Magento software platform. In this role you will also be responsible for the implementation of a site re-platform as well as adding new features and maintenance of the website. Duties and Responsibilities Test and update internally and externally built websites, mobile and social media technologies Plan and execute code edits as needed, as well as optimize and maintain based on best practice Knowledge of hardware, software and program products associated with the delivery of interactive technologies Create effective working relationships with internal personnel and external agency partners Support site re-platforming by working with the respective market and web agency Maintenance and updates of backend platform for all brands Ability to work closely with web agency and Global E-commerce Manager on optimization and all web-related tasks Ensure best practices and state of the art technology are used that carries across all brands and consult on implementation questions Serve as the first response for all technical issues regarding the website Monitor and resolve site availability and performance issues with hosting provider Ensure sites adhere to compliance and security policies Collaborate with team to implement new features and contents Assist with implementing digital marketing campaigns and projects Technical management of internal media database on central platform (input and order by marketing) Qualifications Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related discipline 2+ years of experience managing Magento Enterprise with extensions is a MUST Read and troubleshoot HTML, CSS, SQL and PHP code Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, deadline driven environment with strong problem solving skills Detail oriented, creative resolutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences including vendors, executives, managers, and subject matter experts Preferred Experience Ability to Build Custom Magento Themes preferred Experience in ERP integration a plus Knowledge of UX best practice a plus Does this sound like you? Our client, a Consumer Products Company, is seeking a freelance Production Associate to join the Publishing team. You will report to the Production Director and be responsible for: Managing all phases of assigned book production from estimating to the manufacturing of approximately 150 first print, reprints, and re-issues titles per year. Advocate for each title and is involved in every phase of production ensuring assigned books are printed and delivered as specified Participates in weekly production meetings providing realistic estimates of production time and cost for a title. Advises on the feasibility, scheduling, costs, etc., to help determine best course of action. Responsible for the timely and cost-effective production of assigned book titles. Develops cost-effective production schedules and monitors status of projects in production. Liaison with Editorial, Design and Sales team keeping all parties informed on production schedule, cost and timing updates. Partners with the Operations and Sales teams to look at inventory and identify books for reprint by reviewing sales and trends to maximize sales and consumer demands. Reviews proofs with art directors and editors for quality. Ensures timely delivery of books to warehouse for retail distribution. Follow up on all issues concerning quality control and processing of vendor invoices and payments Musts: 5-7 years experience in book production. Knowledge of CPSIA and ILS standards and regulations. Working knowledge of Quark, Photoshop, MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of SAP a plus. BA/BS pref.
