Our client, a leading sports and entertainment marketing company in the NYC area, is looking for an Associate Creative Director (Art) to join their team. This role begins remotely as soon as possible. Candidates must be local to the NYC area as this will move on-site when safe to do so.
What you'll be doing:
Lead the creative for this brand starting with concept ideation and design for all marketing and creative assets
Drive concepting for new creative ideas that can live across all platforms from marketing, ticket sales, merchandising, etc.
Lead creative executions across all but not limited to, brand identity and logo development, campaigns, events, presentations, sales assets, in-person experiences, apparel and digital and social executions
Oversee and mentor two direct reports in the development of creative concepts and executions based on creative briefs
Work into and with the Brand & Creative lead across all creative executions from start to finish
Act as the brand steward ensuring proper logo and brand standard use across all assets both internally and with partners
Continuously look for opportunities to push design and creative into new territories, while not losing the core brand messaging
Work with production team to capture photo assets to be used across all mediums
Support a culture of collaboration and hard work

About you:
7-9 years of experience working in the ad agency, marketing or design agency world
Significant experience with integrated mediums including but not limited to Video, Print, Radio, OOH, Digital and Social, Interactive, Events and more
Must have management experience leading designers
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as, PowerPoint and Keynote
Basic understanding of UX design and content strategy
Your portfolio demonstrates your role in developing concepts, photography, design and execution
Ability to have a strategic conversation on briefs and discuss how creative achieves objectives
Must be able to accept feedback and input not as a personal attack but as a collaborative way of making the work better
Must be a self-starter, always looking for the opportunity to enhance the team's work and accepts new challenges
Must be highly collaborative, inviting, and not afraid of feedback
