Our client, a beauty company, is looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join their team on a freelance to hire assignment.
What you'll be doing:
Support always-on organic and paid social media efforts for a dedicated brand
Act as the day to day point of contact for the Digital and Social Media Marketing team
Build the brand's presence across chosen social media channels through posting and community management which may include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Pinterest
Strategize, plan, create and coordinate team approval of the content calendar on a monthly and quarterly schedule
Develop visual (static and motion) and copy assets that satisfy the program strategy, leveraging social and target insights
Own the social media postings for the brand's owned social channels
Lead the response management on a daily basis, interacting and responding to users in a timely matter
Act quickly when responding to users, developing content and postings when opportunities arise
Own social media listening practices in an always-on fashion, uncovering relevant insights and synthesizing them into actionable recommendations
Lead the creative briefing, production management and approval of all social assets
Own the community management response documents that align with brand voice and strategy
Provide insights and implications around performance of all content, audience behaviors, competitor insights and best in class work on a quarterly and monthly basis
Continue to keep a pulse on the newest advancements and opportunities in social media
Be an active member of status and brainstorm meetings in collaboration with the brand team and their integrated agency team
Work with the Marketing team across strategy and program management

About you:
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Writing or a similar field of study
3-5 years of experience in Social Media Community Management
Experience with brands in the Beauty / Skincare spaces
Strong working experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat and more
Proficient with social media management tools such as Sprout, Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, and more
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva and Microsoft Office tools for creative development
Portfolio including strong examples of written and design skills across multiple different tones of voice for social media
Extreme attention to detail and organization with a track record of delivering high-quality creative work on time
Strong knowledge of the inner workings and best practices for community management and platforms
Proficiency with target research, media metrics, insights gathering and presentation of recommendations
Strong understanding and engagement with the digital media landscape outside of social media including Search, SEO, eCommerce and Digital Advertising
Ability to work as an always-on Community Manager (includes weekends and evenings)
Ability to travel for meetings and events as needed
