Benefits are available throughout the term of the engagement. PLEASE NOTE: This is a broad, multi-functional role and requires experience across UX design, architecture, research, and strategy. Job Summary: You will create engaging, effective user interfaces, digital assets, and visual designs in support of both enterprise and customer-facing tools, products, applications, and experiences. You will lead the development and design of information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and similar deliverables for digital experiences for implementation in both web and mobile environments. This is a client-facing role and you will be asked to sit on client meetings and interact with them in order to better understand their creative and design needs. You must be able to understand business requirements and technical limitations. You must be able to conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and then translate those into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. Our client, a mobile product agency, is in search of a UX Researcher to join their Product team on a permanent basis. This role begins on-site in NYC as soon as possible. What you'll be doing: Develop, own and execute the user research process for new app development, websites, strategic projects and other digital product developments. Determine the best research methodologies to be used based on your prior experience and understanding of the objective outcome, conduct research and use data output to inform the project development and design. Compile and communicate findings of research via presentations, reports, workshops, etc. to stakeholders and product team to inform development decisions. Through each project you will gain a deep understanding of the user target's motivations and issues, and utilize them as evidence for your roadmap for research. Work with the team to define the product features to be built leveraging the discovery interviews and goals set. Continue to build upon your knowledge in the product space to understand the technical and business requirements and constraints as it pertains to clients and build this into your research.
