UX Researcher (Qualitative)
Our client, is a visual bookmarking internet company, is looking for a UX Researcher with 6+ years of experience. This role is 40 hrs/wk onsite in San Francisco. They are seeking a short term [3 months] Qualitative UX Research Contractor who is passionate about digital experiences. Specifically for senior qualitative researchers who have worked on digital and mobile consumer products and brings a breadth of qualitative methodologies to the table (i.e. UX evaluations, contextual inquiries, focus groups, participatory design methods, etc). This role will be embedded within the Growth Product team working directly with PM Leads, designers and engineers to propose, scope, plan, lead, conduct and communicate tactical and strategic research in a fast paced development process. This research will focus on one key initiative over the course of the contract building upon one project to propose another. You will report to the Director of UX and be responsible for hands-on UX Design, and annotations on the development of digital products. We are seeking UX Designers who meet the following requirements: UX Design for mobile and desktop 5+ years working as a UX product designer. Experience as an in-house designer preferred. The portfolio that showcases strong critical thinking skills and demonstrates concepts to detailed wires. Highly proficient UX skills – Wireframing, low/mid-fidelity prototyping, user empathy, use cases, detailed UX specs, etc Hands-on experience working with UI, Motion, Copy, Developers, UX Researchers & Product in collaborative team environments. Highly Preferred: Experience in launching a product and the maintenance that comes after the fact (working with developers, incremental improvements, re-envisioning features per usage data) A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a plus but not required.

UI Designer (Motion Graphics)
Onward Search is on the hunt for a UI Designer with Motion Graphics Animation skills to join our entertainment client for a long-term contract position that starts immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone with limited UI Design expereince, but who has experience animating motion graphics in AE who wants to move into UI Design and work with a world-class UI/ UX team to become fully immersed into the design of UI systems. You'll report to the Associate Director and be responsible for working with UI and UX leads, designers, to build high-quality UI Designs for different digital products featuring motion graphics design and animation. Specific requirements include: Brainstorming, ideation, rapid-prototyping, and other problem-solving with the UX and visual designers, engineers and other stakeholders. You will help create animated visuals for new product feature-sets, help with creating digital prototypes of new products, and create new patterns to be used on existing products. You will be an advocate for the motion design process through projects as they get implemented. We are seeking UI Designers who meet the following requirements: 2 + Years Experience animating motion graphics in AE and some experince in UI Design. Must have experience animating motion graphics in AE with a preference for candidates who have created animated mock-ups, prototypes for digital. Must have a solid online portfolio outlining the latest in UI design principles and have a strong background in animation. Must be proficient in Adobe Design Suite, Sketch, and be proficient in AE.
