This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing engineering operations, mentoring technical staff, stamping plans, and partnering closely with executive leadership, production, and field teams to drive successful project outcomes.<\/p>\n<p> If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where engineering directly impacts construction execution, we want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for complex structural repair and retrofit projects\n<li>Design, analyze, and stamp structural plans in compliance with the California Building Code and local jurisdiction requirements\n<li>Oversee engineering calculations, plan development, and final technical approvals\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, drafters, and technical staff\n<li>Conduct peer reviews to ensure engineering quality and consistency\n<li>Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Executive teams to support project success\n<li>Participate in site visits, structural observations, and inspections as needed\n<li>Coordinate with local building departments and support permit approvals (including agencies such as LADBS)\n<li>Develop and improve internal engineering standards, systems, and best practices\n<li>Provide technical expertise during pre-construction and support complex project scoping <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Senior Structural Engineer <\/strong><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering\n<li>Active California Structural Engineer (SE) License &#8211; Required\n<li>15+ years of progressive structural engineering experience\n<li>Strong expertise in wood framing, concrete, steel, foundations, and retrofit systems\n<li>Extensive knowledge of California Building Code and local permitting requirements\n<li>Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (RAM, RISA, CAD, Revit, or similar)\n<li>Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a design-build environment\n<li>Familiarity with Southern California jurisdictions and permitting processes\n<li>Experience supporting field operations and construction execution <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Perks &#038; <\/strong><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employer-paid medical coverage\n<li>Dental and vision plan options\n<li>401(k) with company program\n<li>Paid vacation and sick time\n<li>Paid holidays\n<li>Opportunity to lead and shape a growing engineering department\n<li>High-impact role with direct collaboration with executive leadership\n<li>Work on technically challenging and rewarding structural projects\n<li>Supportive, team-oriented design-build environment <\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k)\n<li>Dental insurance\n<li>Health insurance\n<li>Paid time off\n<li>Vision insurance <\/ul>\n<p><strong>License\/Certification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SE License (Required) <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ability to Commute:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunland, CA 91041 (Required) <\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Location: <\/strong>In person<\/p>\n<p> Interested?
