As a Senior iOS Engineer / Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mobile experiences that support creators and backers across a large-scale platform. You’ll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data analysts, and community specialists using iterative, data-driven, and outcome-oriented approaches to build impactful solutions. In this role, you'll contribute to modern iOS applications built in Swift and Objective-C, backed by GraphQL APIs, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and user-focused development that enhances platform functionality and the user experience.
This role operates on an EST schedule during regular business hours. The salary range is $150,000 - $164,000, with a competitive benefits package.

Senior iOS Engineer / Developer Responsibilities:

Write well-tested software that meets product, design, and operational standards to support users’ success.

Estimate task complexity, guide execution, and ensure timely delivery of large to extra-large projects.

Identify and propose technical opportunities and process improvements to enhance team performance and delivery.

Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality across systems.

Stay informed of platform-level API changes and App Store guidance to ensure compliance and best practices.

Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain continuous availability of services.

Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior team members through pairing and knowledge sharing.
Senior iOS Engineer / Developer Qualifications:

Extensive professional experience with Objective-C, Swift, and GraphQL.

Strong collaboration skills, with experience contributing to team discussions, planning, and design.

Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Proven experience mentoring other engineers, including pair programming and knowledge transfer.

Background in designing and building scalable, performant systems that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Experience iteratively building and maintaining live products.

Pragmatic approach to writing well-tested, maintainable, and accessible code.

Commitment to delivering high-quality software through testing, documentation, and code readability, while addressing concerns such as security, performance, and data integrity.

Growth mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and positive team practices.

Empathy for creators and an understanding of the challenges inherent in the creative process.
