We’re looking for a Product Manager for an onsite position in New York, NY. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, requiring four days in-office and one day remote each week.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the strategic roadmap for web initiatives focused on enhancing content discoverability. Collaborating closely with editorial, design, engineering, and project management teams, you’ll identify data-driven opportunities to improve app engagement and achieve business objectives through well-executed technical solutions. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.

Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Drive product prioritization within a 0–6 month timeframe, balancing immediate deliverables with long-term initiatives.

  • Address unforeseen challenges with clear, actionable solutions.

  • Work with design, engineering, and project management teams to build user-centered features.

  • Identify user pain points and develop creative, effective solutions.

  • Manage product roadmaps and iterative release cycles with well-defined requirements tied to business outcomes.

  • Establish, monitor, and adjust Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure measurable impact.

  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams for resource planning.

  • Oversee day-to-day product operations, including agile ceremonies and delivery milestones.

  • Provide proactive communication of updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders.

  • Align leadership and executives with product strategy and vision.

  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date product documentation.

  • Write product briefs and secure alignment on new projects.

  • Foster strong relationships across global, cross-functional teams through excellent communication.


Product Manager Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience building, launching, and scaling consumer digital products within media, social, creator, or editorial commerce companies.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven success delivering consumer-facing products or features at scale with measurable results, ideally in the media space.

  • Strong understanding of modern CMS workflows (headless/decoupled systems) and experience partnering with editorial teams.

  • Proficiency with analytics and event-tracking tools (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel) and ability to convert insights into business strategies.

  • Solid foundation in experiment design and statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, sample sizing, segmentation, guardrails, causal inference).

  • Experience deploying personalization and recommendation engines (custom-built or third-party), including API integrations.

  • Skilled at managing experimentation across teams with strong documentation and stakeholder communication.
