We’re hiring a Project Manager to join a leading energy company. This is a 12-month contract role based in Plainfield, Indiana, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite each week).

In this position, you will manage and direct projects from initiation through completion, ensuring collaboration across teams, effective communication with stakeholders, and compliance with project objectives, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements. You’ll be instrumental in aligning processes, supporting project milestones, and contributing to successful project delivery.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and support project teams by providing guidance, oversight, and coordination across multiple internal and external groups (engineering, project controls, procurement, supply chain, construction management, etc.).

• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and leadership through meetings, reports, and progress updates.

• Define and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, cost tracking, vendor selection, procurement, start-up, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Drive integration of processes and provide leadership throughout all stages of the project.

Project Manager Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of project management experience in Electrical Transmission.

• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree: High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of project management experience in Electrical Transmission.

• Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

• Experience in scheduling, cost management, and stakeholder engagement.

• PMP Certification (preferred).

• Familiarity with construction management (preferred).

• Background in risk management and working within cross-functional teams (preferred).
