We’re looking to place a Content Strategist (Tier 2) in a remote role for a fast-growing digital finance company based in San Francisco, California. This organization is committed to providing best-in-class customer support and innovative solutions while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. This is a 6-month remote contract opportunity.
You’ll join the Customer Experience (CX) Content team to rewrite and optimize Help Center content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and structure across customer-facing knowledge bases. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to scalable content systems and support AI-enabled solutions across a growing platform.

Content Strategist (Tier 2) Responsibilities:

Rewrite and structure existing Help Center articles using standardized templates to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

Apply taxonomy and metadata in the content management system to enhance discoverability, machine readability, and chatbot performance.

Verify and approve content accuracy in collaboration with Product Managers and Legal teams; flag articles requiring additional review.

Maintain editorial governance and quality by applying style standards, performing peer reviews, and ensuring consistency across all content.

Deliver content at scale—targeting approximately 20 articles per week—while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and consistency.

Optimize content for AI enablement, ensuring structured and tagged content supports automation and chatbot functionalities.

Contribute to repeatable systems by documenting process improvements, refining templates, and helping evolve scalable workflows.
Content Strategist (Tier 2) Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in content strategy, writing, or editing—preferably with Help Centers, support content, or structured documentation.

Experience with Contentful or similar content management systems.

Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, accurate, and customer-friendly explanations.

Proven operational discipline and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Customer Experience teams.

Familiarity with structured content models, metadata, and AI/chatbot enablement.

Self-directed, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Experience in tech, crypto, or financial services (preferred).

Familiarity with Smartling, Jira, Asana, or Google Workspace (preferred).

Understanding of localization workflows or multilingual content operations (preferred).

Experience contributing to structured content frameworks or content audits (preferred).
