Our leading consumer goods and retail client is seeking a Packaging Operations Project Manager to join their team in Kissimmee, FL. This is a 6-month, hybrid project opportunity.

In this role, you’ll oversee the end-to-end packaging process—from concept through launch. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative Design, Structural Packaging, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Product Design to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem solver with experience managing complex packaging initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Packaging Operations Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of structural and creative packaging projects—from planning to launch—in alignment with product timelines, seasonal releases, and go-to-market calendars.

• Define project scope, assess risks, and manage resources effectively across assigned categories.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Creative, Structural, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Product Design teams.

• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources across multiple concurrent projects.

• Provide clear status updates, identify risks, and communicate blockers to stakeholders.

• Track and report progress using project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Workfront); maintain accurate documentation and dashboards for leadership visibility.

• Share best practices, identify workflow gaps, and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Support and mentor less experienced teammates to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Packaging Operations Project Manager Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably within a fast-paced, cross-functional organization.

• Strong understanding of structural and creative packaging workflows.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Workfront) and familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at building partnerships across teams.

• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and escalate issues when necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Business Operations, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
