We’re hiring a Senior Technical Product Owner for a remote opportunity based out of Rochester, Minnesota. This is a contract role with a leading organization.
In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between business and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products and workflows that support key business objectives. You will provide strategic direction for Iris, a generative AI product that creates patient and health education content, with a focus on scaling data ingestion and external API capabilities.

Senior Technical Product Owner Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business and system requirements.

Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Partner with engineering teams for design, development, and integration of product solutions.

Perform cost-benefit and risk analyses to guide product decisions.

Lead cross-functional teams as the product owner throughout the lifecycle.

Evaluate vended solution architectures and ensure smooth technical integration.

Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.

Support project documentation, deliverables, and deployment coordination.

Apply systems engineering and agile methodologies across all phases.
Senior Technical Product Owner Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant technical product ownership experience (or 9+ years without a degree).

Proven experience leading agile teams and delivering complex technology solutions.

Strong understanding of data workflows, APIs, and integration methods.

Scrum Product Owner Certification (required within 1 year).

Generative AI, Agentic AI, or chatbot product experience (preferred).

Healthcare industry background (preferred).

Familiarity with EPIC API or healthcare data systems (preferred).
