We’re hiring a Vice President of Operations for a hybrid role in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This is a direct hire opportunity requiring relocation to the Cumberland County area, with a relocation package available for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize operational functions for a growing organization. As Vice President of Operations, you’ll oversee key areas such as customer service, distribution, FDA regulatory compliance, and process innovation. You'll work closely with executive leadership to execute strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability across both domestic and international operations.
This position offers a salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 (bonus not included) and follows a regular business hours schedule.

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities:
-  Develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with company objectives. 
-  Adhere to FDA import/export regulations and ensure team compliance. 
-  Oversee daily operations across departments including customer service, distribution, compliance, and technology. 
-  Manage budgets, personnel, and equipment to achieve performance targets. 
-  Lead quality assurance and control programs ensuring adherence to regulatory and operational standards. 
-  Drive supply chain optimization, vendor relations, and cost efficiency. 
-  Supervise and mentor high-performing teams to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 
-  Establish and track KPIs to measure operational performance and support data-driven decisions. 
-  Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, industry regulations, and company policies. 
-  Participate in contract review processes to ensure alignment with operational capabilities. 
-  Collaborate with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. 
-  Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance productivity and maintain cybersecurity standards. 
-  Champion innovation, best practices, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. 
-  Maintain open communication with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment. 
Vice President of Operations Qualifications:
-  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s preferred. 
-  15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations or related functions. 
-  Proven expertise across multiple operational disciplines including customer service, FDA-related distribution/logistics, technology, finance, and team management. 
-  Strong experience developing and managing departmental budgets and financial plans. 
-  Working knowledge of FDA import/export regulations, with cosmetic industry background strongly preferred. 
-  Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale process improvements and optimize resource allocation for productivity and safety. 
-  Advanced data analysis and performance metric management using tools such as ERP, WMS, SQL, and Microsoft 365. 
-  Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. 
-  Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (preferred).
