We’re seeking a Tax Administrator for a hybrid opportunity in East Aurora, NY. In this role, you’ll support our client’s U.S. Shared Services Center by managing various tax-related activities and ensuring compliance across several indirect tax areas.
As a Tax Administrator, you will collaborate with the offshore tax team and multiple internal departments, reporting directly to the Manager of Indirect Tax. Your responsibilities will focus on Sales/Use tax, property tax, unclaimed property, and other non-income tax matters impacting U.S.-based companies.
Tax Administrator Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the Due Date Listing to ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.

Update state website information, submit electronic returns, and manage corresponding payments.

Organize filing backups and state-related communications in designated folders.

Process payment vouchers and prepare mailings to state authorities.

Assist in gathering information and documentation for non-income tax audits.

Support various non-income tax filings, including annual reports, business licenses, and unclaimed property reporting.

Research and validate exempt documentation requests from business units and suppliers.

Deliver high-quality service to internal stakeholders and external customers.
Tax Administrator Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong PC skills.

Experience in task management and file organization.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in an open office setting.
