Join our client’s team as a dynamic and meticulous Manager, Retail Development, where you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing consumer products initiatives at leading U.S. retail accounts. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategies that enhance the presence of our client’s franchises across various retail channels.

Manager, Retail Development Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement U.S. retail strategies for our client's franchises, focusing on non-toy, licensed categories.

  • Create compelling brand pitches and deliver engaging presentations to retail partners.

  • Coordinate retail marketing and media campaigns in collaboration with media agencies and internal teams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including retail buyers and marketing managers, to ensure successful program execution.

  • Work closely with category leads and licensees to address challenges in retail placement and provide necessary brand updates.

  • Share retail updates and program opportunities with internal teams and licensees.

  • Collaborate with commercial sales units to prepare cross-category brand presentations and participate in joint business planning.

  • Analyze retailer strategies to identify business opportunities and develop solutions using our client's franchises.

  • Develop financial budget recommendations for retail programs to drive sales growth and maximize ROI.

  • Stay informed on retail trends and consumer shopping habits to maintain a competitive edge.

Manager, Retail Development Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Retail Development, Franchise Development, or Consumer Products.

  • Proven track record in developing cross-category merchandise programs at major retail accounts.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

  • A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

  • Travel is required approximately 10% of the time.
