Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a Salesforce Solutions Architect for a remote contract opportunity based out of Hartford, Connecticut. This is a 6–9 month contract role with the potential to convert to direct hire.
We’re looking for a hands-on Salesforce Solutions Architect to support multiple enterprise-level SAFe/Agile programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex integration challenges, guiding technical strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build mission-critical platforms in the healthcare space.

Salesforce Solutions Architect Responsibilities:

Receive epics/features and architectural guidance from Train Architect, translating business needs into actionable solutions.

Partner closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to clarify, refine, and validate requirements.

Engage with Solution Domain Leads to ensure architectural alignment across domains.

Collaborate with the Integration Architect to create solution artifacts (diagrams, architecture sketches, presentations, etc.).

Continuously expand subject-matter expertise across business processes and technical systems.
Salesforce Solutions Architect Qualifications:

Must have extensive experience with Salesforce.

Extensive systems integration experience, particularly within complex, distributed enterprise environments.

Strong background in designing and developing large-scale systems using disciplined architectural practices.

Track record contributing to or leading teams on large/complex technical platforms.

Architecture or engineering experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud-native services.

Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL platforms (e.g., MongoDB), including normalization strategies, sharding, and denormalization patterns.
