Overview
Our client, a top 5 healthcare staffing agency in the USA, is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to own and execute marketing campaigns that directly support business growth and help drive candidate flow into open job orders. This person will be responsible for building and optimizing email and SMS campaigns, developing automated workflows, and partnering closely with business leaders to prioritize recruitment needs from a marketing standpoint.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within HubSpot (preferred) or a similar marketing automation platform, and also understands the Bullhorn CRM/ATS ecosystem—including how to leverage data, segmentation, and pipeline insights to power smarter, more targeted outreach.
This is a highly strategic and executional role, perfect for someone who loves using automation and campaign strategy to solve real business problems.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution
- Build, launch, and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns aligned to business needs and hiring priorities.
- Create and manage automated workflows, nurture campaigns, drip sequences, and trigger-based communications within HubSpot (or similar platform).
- Develop segmentation strategies to target the right audiences (candidates, leads, past applicants, etc.) with relevant messaging.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve results through testing, iteration, and optimization.
Bullhorn Integration & Data-Driven Marketing
- Partner with recruiting and operations teams to leverage Bullhorn data to support marketing initiatives.
- Help connect the dots between Bullhorn (CRM/ATS) and marketing automation platforms to ensure accurate targeting and campaign execution.
- Maintain clean data practices, tagging, and list management to support scalable outreach.
- Support workflows that help drive engagement and conversions within recruiting pipelines.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring goals, open orders, and urgent staffing needs.
- Translate staffing priorities into actionable campaign strategies to help fill roles faster.
- Act as a consultative marketing partner to internal stakeholders—bringing recommendations, campaign roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
- Build scalable marketing programs that support both short-term hiring needs and long-term candidate engagement.
Reporting & Performance Analytics
- Track performance metrics including open rates, CTR, conversion rates, response rates, and funnel movement.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to leadership on what’s working and where improvements are needed.
- Use data to recommend campaign optimizations and drive smarter decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or CRM marketing.
- Hands-on experience building email and SMS campaigns, workflows, and automation journeys.
- Strong experience using HubSpot (preferred) or similar platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or Iterable.
- Experience working with or supporting campaigns tied to Bullhorn CRM/ATS (highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, marketing funnels, and lead/candidate nurturing strategies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with recruiting, operations, and business leadership teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition marketing, or high-volume hiring environments.
- Experience integrating marketing automation tools with CRM/ATS systems.
- Familiarity with candidate marketing best practices and compliance considerations.
- Strong copywriting instincts and understanding of what drives engagement through email/SMS.
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign experimentation.
