CAD Drafter Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings, patterns, and templates for props and scenery to support various trade show and entertainment projects.
• Interpret preliminary designs, sketches, and verbal or written information into comprehensive CAD detail and assembly drawings.
• Assist fabrication teams by providing precise drawings supporting wood, metal, and model shop production.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining organized documentation and adhering to schedule requirements.

CAD Drafter Qualifications:

• Proven skills in CAD drafting and creating detailed technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of design and layout principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
