We’re partnering with a leading television networks company seeking a Digital Ebook Designer to support their creative team. This role involves transforming illustrated print books into digital formats that maintain their visual storytelling and accessibility. This is an ongoing, project-based position that can be worked Remotely. Ideal for a detail-oriented designer with a passion for digital publishing and complex layouts.

Digital Ebook Designer Responsibilities:

• Convert print books into high-quality digital ebooks, ensuring that visual hierarchy and storytelling are preserved.
• Adapt illustrated layouts for responsive, accessible, and platform-optimized experiences across various devices.
• Prepare and optimize images, illustrations, and other assets for digital use while maintaining quality.
• Format and produce ebooks in compliance with platform standards, including validation and quality assurance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Digital Ebook Designer Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and producing ebooks from print files.
• Familiarity with digital publishing standards, including ePub, fixed-layout versus reflowable formats, and digital typography.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and ebook export workflows.
• Experience working with illustrated titles such as children’s books, cookbooks, or photography books is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
