We’re partnering with a leading events and experiential marketing company to find a talented Event Manager. This role is remote within the region and offers a 10 to 26-week temporary engagement, perfect for professionals experienced in managing large-scale trade shows and vendor activations.

Event Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage onsite execution during event days, including vendor load-in/load-out, run-of-show coordination, and rapid issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing regular status updates and handling escalations as needed.
• Track budgets, POs, invoices, and shipping/inventory status for booth assets and collateral to ensure accurate post-event reconciliation.
• Oversee the entire process of booth construction and event setup, working closely with vendors, designers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate logistical arrangements with the convention venue, including electrical, lighting, internet, and delivery services.
• Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Organize and facilitate promotional activities during events, such as giveaways and attendee engagement initiatives.
• Develop detailed project timelines and monitor progress to meet deadlines within scope and budget.

Event Manager Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience leading end-to-end trade show execution (planning through onsite support), including cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Strong budget, PO/invoice, and vendor SOW oversight skills to keep programs on scope and on time.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Airtable) and building clear status reporting for leadership.
• Proven experience managing sponsor or vendor activations at large trade shows or similar events.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
