We're partnering with our client, a manufacturing company specializing in machined metals, to find a talented Quality Technician 1st Shift. This position is based on-site and offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for candidates interested in advancing their quality control expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Technician 1st Shift Responsibilities:

• Conduct floor audits with production staff to verify quality standards and record accurate data.
• Inspect products utilizing gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, oscilloscopes, and vision systems prior to shipment.
• Perform gage calibration activities and incoming raw material inspections.
• Carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Assist with the implementation of standard operating procedures and work instructions, ensuring timely completion of first-piece inspections.

Quality Technician 1st Shift Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in a quality control role within a machined metals manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting to meet quality and delivery goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong team orientation.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor alongside production machinists in a supportive capacity.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness; experience with CMM and programming (CMM, Keyence, SurfCom) is a plus but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database software, and order processing systems is essential.
