Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary authority for complex structural repair and retrofit projects.
• Create, evaluate, and approve structural plans in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Oversee technical calculations, design development, and final plan approvals.
• Guide, develop, and mentor engineering staff, including conducting peer reviews.
• Collaborate with various teams and agencies to ensure project compliance and success.

Senior Structural Engineer Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active California Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
• Expertise in wood framing, concrete, steel, foundations, and retrofit systems.
• Familiarity with California Building Code, local permitting, and proficiency in engineering software such as RAM, RISA, CAD, or Revit.
