We're partnering with our retail client to find a talented Instructional Designer to support their team. This 6-month contract role involves creating engaging learning experiences tailored to retail business practices and tools and can be worked remotely.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive learning modules and engaging course content to promote knowledge retention and transfer.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand training requirements and define learning objectives.
• Design visual elements including graphics, interfaces, and finished materials to enhance learner engagement.
• Conduct research to analyze learner needs and contextual factors affecting training effectiveness.
• Create supplementary media such as audio, video, and simulations to diversify delivery methods.

Instructional Designer Qualifications:

• Proven experience in instructional design and the use of instructional technology.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design frameworks.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. Basic HTML a plus.
• Ability to plan lessons, develop curricula, and storyboard content effectively.
• Excellent writing skills for instructional text, scripts, and copy, with the ability to use AI tools for rapid development.
