Lead Wiring Diagram Designer Responsibilities:

• Produce precise wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematic drawings in AutoCAD, utilizing custom blocks and standards.
• Assign tasks effectively among team members based on project priorities and individual capacities.
• Review and verify team outputs for compliance, accuracy, and completeness before release.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and best practices to improve team performance.
• Collaborate with CAD and engineering teams to develop custom tools, blocks, and workflows to enhance drafting efficiency.

Lead Wiring Diagram Designer Qualifications:

• Over six years of experience designing wiring diagrams and control panel layouts, particularly in industrial power or control systems.
• At least two years of supervisory or team lead experience within drafting or design teams.
• Expert proficiency with AutoCAD, including tool palettes, custom blocks, and layer management.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, UL 891, UL 1558, and ANSI/IEEE wiring and labeling standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and explain technical standards clearly.
