We're partnering with a leading organization specializing in robotics and warehouse process design to find a talented AutoCAD Technician. This temporary role is based in our client's facility and offers a unique opportunity to work on detailed floor layouts for robotic fulfillment centers. Location Requirements: 2 days per week ONSITE in Boston.

CAD Technician Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine detailed floor plans for Amazon Robotics facilities using AutoCAD, ensuring exact cell alignment and component placement.
• Conduct thorough checks for physical interferences such as columns, HVAC, expansion joints, and fire shutters to uphold design integrity.
• Generate deployment-related documentation and drawings in accordance with project standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to interpret building shell data and external references.
• Manage multiple layered drawing sets efficiently to support the global network of fulfillment centers.

CAD Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years' experience operating AutoCAD in a professional setting, with proven layer management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including creating pivots, VLOOKUP functions, and cell-by-cell calculations.
• Prior experience working within warehouse, fulfillment, or process flow environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of material handling and storage systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; experience in industrial or mechanical engineering a plus.
