Our client, a leading organization in the defense industry, is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator with strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to support and help guide the future direction of its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment.

This individual will serve as a key technical resource responsible for administering Teamcenter, participating in architecture and modernization initiatives, and collaborating with Siemens consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring broad teamcenter platform knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance day-to-day operational support with strategic planning and decision-making.

Principal Systems Administrator Responsibilities:

* Administer, maintain, and support Siemens Teamcenter environments.
* Serve as an internal subject matter expert for Teamcenter platform capabilities, administration, and best practices.
* Participate in architecture, design, upgrade, and migration discussions with Siemens consultants and solution architects.
* Help guide long-term PLM platform strategy and future-state technology decisions.
* Support Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.
* Coordinate activities with external vendors, technical partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Act as a liaison between business teams, engineering groups, and Siemens experts.
* Support system configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and platform maintenance activities.
* Contribute to planning sessions and strategic discussions related to Teamcenter roadmap initiatives.
* Ensure technical decisions align with business objectives and long-term organizational goals.

Principal Systems Administrator Required Qualifications:

* Hands-on experience administering and supporting Siemens Teamcenter environments.
* Broad understanding of the Teamcenter ecosystem and multiple Teamcenter modules/components.
* Experience participating in Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, migration, or architecture initiatives.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience collaborating with vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to operate independently and contribute to strategic discussions.

Principal Systems Administrator Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Teamcenter 2512, Teamcenter 2606, or other recent Teamcenter releases.
* Experience with Teamcenter X or cloud-based Teamcenter deployments.
* Experience administering both cloud and on-premises Teamcenter environments.
* Experience sizing, implementing, or supporting enterprise Teamcenter deployments.
* Experience facilitating meetings, driving technical discussions, and influencing decision-making.
* Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) best practices and enterprise platform governance.

* Experience supporting AI-enabled capabilities within Teamcenter environments.
* Understanding of AI applications within PLM systems and engineering workflows.
* Experience evaluating or implementing emerging AI-driven functionality related to product data management, knowledge discovery, or process automation.
