Join our client, an automotive security systems manufacturer, as a Tooling Supervisor in a permanent position. This on-site role leads day-to-day tooling department operations, balancing safety, quality, and production priorities. You'll guide teams and processes that support new tool builds, spare tooling components, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Tooling Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily tooling department operations across safety, quality, staffing, assets, inventory, and KPI performance.
• Lead and sustain 5S initiatives, training, audits, and continuous safety improvements.
• Drive execution of new tooling build plans to meet target timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Coach, develop, and engage the team through clear goals, feedback, recognition, and performance management.
• Support quality and customer requirements by ensuring process adherence, preventive maintenance, and participation in customer tours as needed.

Tooling Supervisor Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar tooling or tool room leadership role.
• Experience leading Kaizen, 5S, and other lean manufacturing improvement activities.
• Demonstrated ability to define, track, and report operational KPIs to leadership.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and process discipline in a manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO/TS-related processes).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use company-specific software tools.
