Our client is seeking a creative visionary to join their team as a Senior Narrative Writer. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives that breathe life into new champions and their worlds, inspiring both the artists and designers who bring them to life and the players who engage with them.

Key Responsibilities

• Character Development: Utilize your storytelling expertise to develop rich, engaging characters and communicate their personalities through narrative design.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and other team members, providing and receiving feedback to achieve clear creative goals.

• Voice Over Creation: Collaborate with the development team, VO directors, and producers to craft voice lines that convey gameplay intent and character personality.

• Innovative Storytelling: Ideate and create captivating characters, environments, and worlds, ensuring thematic cohesion and alignment with the game's core truths.

• Documentation and Alignment: Produce detailed documentation to support the narrative vision and maintain consistency across the project.

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor fellow team members to elevate the narrative quality within the studio.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of narrative writing experience in the gaming industry.

• Proven leadership in creative projects within cross-disciplinary teams.

• Expertise in crafting memorable VO lines and developing both new and existing IPs.

• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality stories through themes, characters, and worlds.

• Extensive experience with technical game implementation tools for narrative and VO deliverables.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in shipping at least one AAA game title.

• Familiarity with the fighting game genre.
