Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a UX Designer III for a leading global technology company known for innovation and high design standards.
You’ll join the Experience Design & Digital Accessibility team to support enterprise-grade analytics tools in the manufacturing space. This is a 11 months of contract opportunity based in Austin, TX, and follows a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays through Thursdays onsite).
UX Designer III Responsibilities:

Research, prototype, and design features for data-rich internal tools used in manufacturing and analytics.

Deliver high-quality design specs, wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes.

Conduct usability testing to validate designs and inform improvements.

Partner with users, product managers, analysts, engineers, and fellow designers.

Contribute to scalable UX design systems and elevate team-wide standards.

Improve internal tools that support manufacturing quality and analytics.
Requirements:

5–7 years of industry experience in UX design, particularly for enterprise or data-heavy applications.

Strong portfolio link required on resume.

Expertise in user-centered design, UX flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Proven ability to translate complex needs into elegant, intuitive solutions.

Familiarity with Sketch or Figma for design and prototyping.

Independent work ethic in fast-paced, multi-project environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus: Background in mathematics, statistics, or manufacturing domains.
