We’re looking to hire a Communications Writer for a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.   
 
Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Communications team to help plan, develop, and execute corporate communications (web, video, email newsletter, etc). 
 
This is a 12 – month contract + possible extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Lake Bluff, IL, and the role is on-site 3 days/week (2 days/week remote). Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract. 
 
CommunicationsWriter Responsibilities: 

• Create internal communications: newsletters, emails, intranet content, and quarterly updates.
• Support external content: social media and speaking materials.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Business Technology Solutions on communication plans, timelines, and messaging.
• Simplify complex technical information for broad employee communication.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organization and teamwork.
• Ensure brand alignment across all internal and external communications.

 
CommunicationsWriter Requirements: 

• 3+ years’ experience
• Craft clear, concise, and professional written communications, including reports, emails, presentations, and documentation, tailored to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering strong working relationships to achieve shared objectives and ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, including defining scope, developing timelines, allocating resources, tracking progress, and mitigating risks to deliver successful outcomes.
