We are currently seeking a Project Manager for the internal advertising agency of a prominent pharmaceutical brand. This exciting opportunity is located in Chicago, and the role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a one-year contract.

As a Project Manager, you will join a dynamic creative team responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing both digital and print projects. You will work in a fast-paced, high-visibility role, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards. Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and communicate project status to all key stakeholders.
• Lead regular status meetings with internal teams and clients, reviewing progress, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Document and distribute meeting notes and action items.
• Oversee the internal agency approval process (Kantata, WorkFront) for project routing and ensure all assets meet compliance standards.
• Prepare all assets and documentation for submission and review according to the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (Veeva) review process.
• Coordinate with studio, programming, and creative leads to ensure resources are aligned for project execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all third-party vendors, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specs, server folder structures, estimate tracking, and more.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in an ad agency environment (minimum), with project management experience; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, including verbal, presentation, and written.
• Familiarity with both print and digital project lifecycles and various project management methodologies/styles.
• Knowledge of the print production process, web technologies, and digital trends.
• A highly organized, positive, and energetic individual who thrives in high-visibility roles.
• Collaborative team player who is able to focus on both the big picture and the finer details.
