Our client is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join their team and contribute to transforming / streamlining business operations through cutting-edge solutions. This hybrid role offers the opportunity for occasional travel to support events and workshops.

 

This is a contract until 12/31/25 + possible extension. The team is located in Mettawa, IL, and the role is hybrid on-site 3 days/week. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

 

Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and oversee technical/systems Operations projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within defined scopes.
  • Technical Partnership: Collaborate with Business Technology Solutions to support technical implementations.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate meetings, providing comprehensive documentation and actionable insights.
  • Change Management: Drive the adoption of new processes and tools within Operations.
  • Technical Coordination: Act as the primary contact for technical issues, coordinating resolutions and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Data Reporting: Maintain high standards in data reporting (Power BI), including Monthly Business Reviews, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams to meet reporting and operational expectations.
  • Support Initiatives: Assist in testing, piloting, and training for new Operations initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Develop presentation materials, training content, and standard operating procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify challenges and propose enhancements for platforms and reporting activities.
  • Strategic Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and offer strategic recommendations for improvement.

 

Program Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management or PMO; digital marketing
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of Smartsheet and PowerBI as a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without daily supervision.
