Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire an experienced Agile Coordinator for a remote opportunity. This is a 12-month project opportunity with our pharmaceutical client.
In this role, you’ll serve as a critical facilitator and communicator across cross-functional teams. You’ll ensure Agile methodologies are effectively implemented, support program delivery, and help teams stay aligned, productive, and focused on solving high-priority technical challenges.
Only candidates located in the continental U.S. and eligible to work on a W2 basis will be considered. 1099, C2C, or third-party candidates will not be accepted.

Agile Coordinator Responsibilities:

Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Promote Agile best practices across the organization and educate team members to enhance collaboration and productivity.

Identify and remove blockers that may impede team progress.

Act as liaison between cross-functional teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.

Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and delivery.

Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog.

Ensure engineering teams have the necessary product requirements and UX assets to stay on schedule.

Manage Agile tools such as JIRA and ensure accurate sprint data and issue tracking.

Deliver Agile reporting and metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity reports) to provide visibility and inform decision-making.
Agile Coordinator Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks).

Prior experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Program Manager, or Agile Coach in a tech or software-focused organization.

Strong organizational and communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration among engineers, designers, and product teams.

Problem-solver mindset with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Experience working in a digital media, tech, or software development environment (preferred).
-
Proficiency in JIRA and other Agile tools (preferred).
-
Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting best practices (preferred).

Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist) is a plus (preferred).
