We’re hiring a Video Editor/Animator for a hybrid opportunity in Westwood, Massachusetts. This mid-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented creative with a passion for storytelling and visual design.
Join our client’s dynamic team and help bring concepts to life through compelling video and animation. You’ll produce content across digital, social, and broadcast platforms, ensuring each piece is engaging, visually impactful, and aligned with brand standards. From digital signage to experiential environments, your work will play a key role in elevating the brand experience.
Video Editor/Animator Responsibilities:

Craft engaging video content for digital, social, and broadcast platforms, including promotional videos, explainers, and ads.

Design and animate motion graphics tailored for digital signage, retail displays, and experiential environments.

Develop compelling typography, transitions, and visual effects for large-format and high-resolution screens.

Adapt content across various formats and screen types, ensuring brand consistency and high-impact visuals.

Collaborate with producers, designers, and strategists to bring creative concepts to life.

Create storyboards, rough cuts, and final animations that align with brand objectives.

Enhance footage with color correction, sound design, and compositing.

Maintain organized project files and assets throughout post-production.

Stay informed on best practices for animation in digital out-of-home environments.
Video Editor/Animator Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in video editing and motion design, with a focus on digital signage or screen-based installations.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Strong storytelling skills with an eye for visual pacing and composition.

Experience designing for varied resolutions and playback environments.

Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.

Ability to work collaboratively and apply feedback constructively.

Familiarity with collaboration tools like Frame.io, Slack, and Dropbox.

A demo reel showcasing video editing and motion design for digital signage is required.

Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Blender (preferred).

Familiarity with digital signage platforms and playback systems (preferred).

Basic understanding of video encoding and delivery for signage networks (preferred).

*Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
