We’re hiring a Total Rewards / Compensation Specialist for a fully on-site role in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a direct hire opportunity with regular business hours.

In this role, you’ll support the tactical and operational execution of compensation and benefits programs across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions. You'll be a key contributor to compensation cycle activities, benchmarking, policy support, and systems administration. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with strong experience in compensation processes and cross-functional coordination.

Pay for this role ranges from $105,000 to $125,000 annually. A cognitive test is required for consideration.

Total Rewards / Compensation Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Support compensation processes including annual merit, bonuses, off-cycle increases, and incentive payouts.

  • Conduct salary benchmarking using tools such as Mercer, Sequoia Insights, and other market data platforms.

  • Maintain internal equity audits and deliver compensation reports to ensure alignment with equity goals.

  • Collaborate on compensation planning, calibration, and review processes across geographies.

  • Manage compensation documentation, spreadsheets, and executive-ready reporting.

  • Partner with Finance and People Operations for accurate monthly close activities and compensation reconciliation.

  • Coordinate survey submissions and market data reviews globally.

  • Serve as a key resource for internal teams needing compensation guidance or insight.

  • Adapt to shifts in tools or leadership direction (e.g., adoption of AI tools or new vendors).

  • Own execution-level responsibilities, from spreadsheet modeling to project coordination.

  • Support presentation of compensation findings to business leaders for review and feedback.

Total Rewards / Compensation Specialist Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or HR roles with compensation focus.

  • Familiarity with global compensation practices, ideally across U.S., EMEA, and APAC.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formulas).

  • Solid understanding of compensation cycles, equity audits, and benchmarking tools.

  • Experience working with compensation platforms such as Mercer, Sequoia, or similar.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Comfortable managing data for large employee populations (300+ across multiple regions).

  • Experience with HRIS tools such as Factorial or equivalent.

  • Ability to present data and recommendations to stakeholders clearly.

  • SaaS or startup experience (preferred).

  • Multilingual capabilities, Spanish a plus (preferred).

  • Experience with global survey tools (preferred).

*Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
