In this role, you'll collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team of product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, and software engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of cutting-edge applications. You will design and develop test strategies, lead end-to-end testing initiatives, and contribute to process improvement and automation efforts across multiple projects.

QA Engineer Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional Agile teams including product managers, UX designers, architects, and software engineers.

• Design, develop, and review test strategies and test cases for applications.

• Analyze new development and change requirements to determine testing needs.

• Create and apply best testing processes in close coordination with the Agile team.

• Coordinate with Scrum team and development counterparts for bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation, and release.

• Perform dependency analysis, functional design, workflow analysis, and use case analysis to determine testing requirements.

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including test planning, incident research and analysis, QA, and user acceptance testing.

• Use deep understanding of system behavior and data properties to develop efficient testing strategies.

• Create reports and analyze data to summarize testing results.

• Analyze current processes to identify issues and recommend improvements.

• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

QA Engineer Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Selenium.

• Basic knowledge of Java, GIT/GitHub, SQL, and test methodology, including UI and services testing methodologies.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams supporting automation efforts and working with Jira tools/plugins.

• (Preferred) Knowledge of Jenkins, API testing, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP.

• Ability to independently drive projects and outcomes with minimal and evolving requirements.

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.

• Flexibility to learn and adapt to new coding languages.

• Ability to develop new utilities to support test automation needs.

• Provide automation support to the Quality Engineering team.

• Effective team player, able to collaborate across multiple teams.

• Capable of multitasking and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
